About the opportunity
We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with a strong focus on software engineering to help us build production-ready Data Science solutions. At N26, the Data Science and Machine Learning Engineering teams develop practical applications to enable innovative products and features for millions of users.
In this role, you will:

Contribute to, and improve existing Data Science applications

Design and implement new Data Science infrastructure that supports experimentation, development, and productionisation of new and existing Data Science applications

Work on a wide range of projects on the N26 roadmap in different fields, including credit modelling, fraud prevention, NLP, and LLMs.

Expert in Software Engineering

Good understanding of Data Science fundamentals
Profile:

3+ years of experience in developing, deploying and maintaining Machine Learning services that meet highest standards of code quality, performance and reliability

Extensive software development experience with Python

Nice to haves:

Expertise in working with Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, or Kafka

Experience building a Feature Store, Model Registry, Workflow Orchestration, or other technologies supporting the Data Science project lifecycle
